Kathy's career is distinguished by her experience in management and litigation, having served as a litigation manager across various law firms for nearly three decades. Her election and subsequent re-elections as a Councilmember for a Los Angeles City Neighborhood Council underscore her commitment to serving as a vital link between the community and local government.

In 2016, Kathy expanded her repertoire of skills by receiving training as a facilitator and mediator from the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. Since then, she has adeptly facilitated and mediated thousands of cases, ranging from Landlord/Tenant disputes to more complex issues like Homeowners Association conflicts, Construction, and Real Estate disputes, each time bringing her deep-seated passion for resolving complicated matters to the forefront.
